Intriguing recipe ideas can be found in the most unexpected places. While visiting the Shelburne Museum, a multi-building must-see in Shelburne, Vermont, we stopped for lunch at the on-campus cafe.
My pulled pork sandwich was accompanied by the most appealing slaw. In addition to the expected shredded cabbage and carrots, the slaw included asparagus, broccoli florets, zucchini and yellow squash, as well as sliced almonds. Delicious! I will be trying a variation of this the next time I make slaw.
